There’s nothing quite as endearing as a happily babbling baby. Knowing that these sounds might be helping your baby put together the building blocks of speech is an added bonus. Talk to your little one early, and talk often. Get up close so your baby can see how your lips move. Babies are wonderful copycats.

Hi, my name is Monika Gamble. I have 3 years experience as a nanny looking after two gorgeous girls, and now I am excited to offer home based childcare as an educator. I have a degree in psychology and I specialized in psychology of education.
I believe in building strong, positive relationships with children as a foundation for their learning and development.
In my programme, I offer a wide variety of play settings and experiences, both at home and in the wider community. I regularly attend music group and Wild Things playgroups that enable the kids to experience the group play and meet other children. Visits to the library, museum, parks and playgrounds are also important part of my week.
I am a creative person, I love arts and crafts, and I focus on fostering creativeness and imagination in children.
I live in Kenmure with my husband Chris, and my 17 year old stepson Sean. Our house is warm and cosy, with a double glazed living area. We also have a great outdoor area.
