A way of diffusing tension and conflict is to use humour and fun. You can pretend to become the menacing tickle monster or make animal noises. But humour at your child’s expense won't help. Young children are easily hurt by parental ‘teasing’.
Toni Jackson

My name is Toni Jackson and I am a home-based educator. I am a born and bred Southlander formerly from Otautau.
It’s great living in the south, I love the people and we are lucky enough to still be able to let our kids be kids and still be safe.
I have two beautiful girls, Shay is 16 and Ebony is 14.
I offer a warm home with a great backyard which includes a sand pit, balls and bikes.
We live near a playground and being that Invercargill is a small city we do trips to Queens Park or the Museum and the library around the routines of the children in my care.
I also go to Mainly Music once a week and regularly attend Gym.
In Summer the sprinkler or swimming pool comes out depending on the weather.
I offer a wide variety of toys as I am a member of the Toy Library and try to accommodate the children’s interests.
